North Northamptonshire Council came into being on 1 April 2021, taking over from Northamptonshire County Council and the Borough Council of Wellingborough.

Elections took place on 6 April 2021 and three councillors for the Earls Barton ward, which Great Doddington falls under, were elected.

The three councillors are Councillors Scott Brown, Clive Hallam and Lora Lawaman whose details can be found on the North Northamptonshire Council website www,northnorthants.gov.uk
